HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY
As we have had to decide whether to wear a wind breaker or a parka during January, it does seem soon for the first month of 2018 to be over.
It still amazes us how busy the GWRRA MN & ND District Chapters are even when it is cold. We do acclimate each passing year. (We know—we, have acclimated 159 of between us).
We have started 2018 learning that life is not fair. Our thoughts and prayers are to the members who are dealing with the unfairness heartbreak of life.
Read the information that is sent you about the GWRRA changes. This information will continue during the year. Your District Membership Enhancement Coordinator, District Educator, Motorist Awareness Coordinator and Medic First Aid will have the best information for any questions you may have. And as usual, we take questions also: 507-242-74074
Be sure to check out the online registration for our 2018 Rally.
Enjoy the Journal,
Joe & Jan

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018
As the New Year begins we know we will face challenges and a newness to GWRRA. Working together and having patience is going to be a good way to do this. When you hear that in something has changed/being done differently any program please contact us so we can go to the right people to verify what you have heard.
Let’s all have a good year.

December has begun mildly with no snow. However we still enjoy our holidays with our old and new traditions.
May you all have happy holidays with your loved ones and friends.
Merry Christmas from us to all of you,
Joe & Jan
2017 Riding Season Over?
Posted: 02 Nov 2017 07:40 AM
Well, with snow on the ground and the temps staying low all day, riding will probably slow down. As we look back at the newsletters this past year the MN & ND District has had a very active riding season in 2017. This is great!!
Now, seeing the beginnings of 2018 calendar plannings the fun continues. The Chapters are very busy all year long. Be sure to check the calendar often to keep up with events and activities.
Be sure to read Rider Education article this month. Joy has a lot of information about the Levels Program.
Amy's article in Training briungs more information explaining modules.
Have a great November, have fun with your and other MN & ND District Chapters.

Fall is on the way

We are back from Wing Ding. We want to thank John Henry, Chapter Q and Amy Peterson Chapter O for being the flag bearers for the GWRRA MN & ND District at the opening.
There is a Fall chill in the air, it is a reminder that our riding season is getting shorter. We hope that all of us can still get a lot of riding in in the next few weeks. Remember, school is open (buses), corn is ripe (tractors w/wagons) and the deer will be on the run to get to the fields as the corn is picked. Ride safe, be alert and watch out for those left-hand turns.
