The 2010 ride schedule is winding down with the hint of fall in the air. Chapter B has had a good riding summer in spite of some inclement weather at times. We will complete our Wednesday night rides on Sept 1 and the last scheduled weekend ride was to be Oct 2-3, 2010. We have decided to cancel the trip to Bayfield as we would not have enough time to do it justice, and the weather can be iffy that time of year. Instead we will have a Sunday ride @ 1:00 p.m. Oct 2, 2010.
The future plans for the chapter will be the meetings for the winter months, changing of officers January and of course our Chapter Christmas Party. We hope to select a date for the Christmas party soon so members can make plans.
The Bradley’s will be stepping aside as chapter directors at the end of the calendar year. We have enjoyed the opportunity to serve as Chapter Directors and feel our membership is one of the greatest with all the support and help they have given during our tenure. We wish the chapter well, and encourage the new officer slate to give the fine people of Chapter B some great experiences in motorcycling. Thanks to everyone and it is time for us to be: JAM.
It would also be a good time to start thinking CHROME for Christmas! Our last weekend ride, I listened to all but two riders talk about items they are “Planning” to get for their riding machine. Make a list and check it twice before sharing it with your “present givers.”
