Several of our Chapter C members got together for a nice ride to Kinbrae for brunch on a past Sunday morning. It was a very scenic ride to a real small town in southwestern Minnesota. The outside of the restaurant did not look like much but the inside was well finished and the food and service was great! Seems we picked one of the hottest, most humid days for this ride which lead to frequent stops at cool locations with plenty of cold beverages to quench the thirst. One of our stops was at the Jeffers Petroglyphs which would be a very interesting place to tour on a much cooler day.
I would like to thank Chapter R for allowing me the privilege of receiving their high honors. I will treasure the fine traveling trophies for this upcoming year! Got a nice headpiece to sport for a year, also! Betting it will spark a lot of conversation!
Jenny and I will be attending the Region E Rally in Davenport this Labor Day weekend to cheer on Brian and Tammy as they compete for the Region E COY. This event should be a lot of fun along with the opportunity of meeting up with our old friends and making new friends. Hope to see you there!
Chapter C’s social will be September 26 at Searles Bar & Grill in beautiful downtown Searles at 4:30 pm. Come visit with friends and enjoy some good food.
